This year this festival starts on August 30, from 3.34 pm onwards. Closing of Chaturthi date of Shukla of Bhadrapada – August 31, at 3:23 pm Midday Ganesh Puja Timings – 11.12 am to 1:42 pm. On the Anant Chaturdashi Day Is believed Lord Ganesha was born in Madhya Kaal. The auspicious time for Ganesha Puja is between 11.12 am to 1:42 pm. What Is The Ideal Place For Ganpati Sthapna (Placement)?

You should place Lord Ganesha according to Vastu Shastra Principles

  • Lord Ganesha’s idol should be placed in the East or West direction of the house.
  • The northeast corner of the house is the best location to set up Ganesha’s idol.
  • Make sure Lord Ganesha’s face is Not in the South direction.
  • Color also plays a significant role. If you bring Bright Orange or ‘Sindoori’ color, Ganesha’s idol, your wishes are fulfilled very soon. If you are longing for Peace and Harmony in life, bring White colored Ganesha’s idol.
  • While bringing Lord Ganesh’s statue, you must focus on the direction of Lord Ganesha’s trunk. Select Ganesha’s idol with a Left-sided Trunk as it represents Ida Nadi and brings peace and relaxing energies to you. Ganesha, with the Right-sided trunk, is considered stubborn and difficult to please Him.

Never Set Up Ganesh’s idol In The Bathroom

Do not set up or establish Ganesh’s idol in the Bedroom or on a wall near or next to the Bathroom. It is inauspicious, as per Vastu Shastra.

Make A Swastika With Orange Sindoor And Cow Ghee

Make a Swastika there with Orange sindoor and cow ghee in your home that is not per the norms of Vastu Shastra. By doing this, you can reduce the negative impacts of the Vastu dosh. When to perform Ganpati Visarjan? Ganpati festival is of 11 days and you can do Visarjan or Immersion as per your beliefs and facilities You can do Ganpati Visarjan (immersion) on 1½ day/ 3rd day/ 5th Day/ 7th day or 10th day 11th day is known as Anant Chaturdashi. Many people do Visarjan on this day.
