The Elden Ring: A Guide to Locating Each and Every Starlight Shard

The Elden Ring: A Guide to Locating Each and Every Starlight Shard

Only Larval Tears, Celestial Dew, and a few other consumables are rarer than Starlight Shards in Elden Ring. This makes them one of the most valuable items in the game. The fact that there are so few of them is probably for the best. By making use of one, you will receive several minutes’ worth of continuous FP regeneration, which will enable you to cast spells and use Ashes of War a great deal more frequently than was originally intended.

A system like this can help you get out of a jam or give you an unexpected advantage in PvP, but you’ll need to be strategic about when you use Starlight Shards because once you’ve accumulated all of them, you’ll have to start a new game to get any more of them after that point in the story. This is a complete list of every Starlight Shard and its location within the Lands Between.

Where to Find the Starlight Shards You Need in buy Elden Ring items and How to Get Them

– In the entirety of Elden Ring, there are only 23 Starlight Shards to be found; however, if you go into New Game Plus, everything will reset, and you will be able to continue collecting Starlight Shards

– There are a maximum of two in each primary zone, but there are none in any of the underground areas or on the levels of the Consecrated Snowfield or Hagitree

– Because of the limited space available in Crumbling Faram Azula, you won’t find any Shards there either

We will list each Starlight Shard according to its location, in the order in which it is most likely for you to discover it. Take note that the majority of the Starlight Shards you discover in the overworld will be located in close proximity to half-moon altars. The only exceptions to this rule are the ones that can be discovered at the Moonlight Altar, which can be accessed by following Ranni’s questline.

Shard number 1 of the Limgrave Starlight

Limgrave’s southern region is where you’ll find the first Starlight Shard you’re looking for. Located to the east of the South Agheel Lake Site of Grace and the Forlorn Hound’s Evergaol, it can be found atop a cliff close to the ruins. It is located close to a cliffside, just like the majority of the other Shards on this list.

Shard 2 of the Limgrave Starlight

The second item on this list can be found in the Stormhill region, which is located to the north of Limgrave. Beginning at the Stormhill Shack Site of Grace, travel westward until you reach the cliffs, at which point you should turn south. The Shard can be found on a small outcropping of rock that is located on the most southwestern part of the edge.

Penninsula of the TearsFragment of the Starlight

On the eastern hill close to the Rise in the Weeping Peninsula is where you’ll find the solitary Starlight Shard. The quickest and most convenient way to get there is to head about halfway to the actual castle, where you will find a sign indicating the location of the Castle Morne Rampart Site of Grace, then turn around and head north up the path to the hill. Once you have reached the crest of the hill, turn around and travel in a southeasterly direction toward the eastern cliffs. You should be able to see the altar in the shape of a half moon from quite a distance away.

Starlight Shard obtained from Liurnia of the Lakes

Acquiring the Academy Glintstone Key is necessary if you wish to take the route that is least complicated to reach the Liurnia Starlight Shard. Make use of it to gain access to the Site of Grace located at the Academy Main Gate, and then proceed to the portal that is located to the north of the broken bridge. When you reach the northernmost part of the area, turn to the south and follow the side hill all the way around until you reach the Divine Tower. As you travel, make sure to pick up the Artist’s Shack Site of Grace.

The Starlight Shard can be found on the western cliffs, directly across from the small forest that can be found to the direct south of the Carian Study Hall.

Shard of the Caelid Starlight 1

Caelid is a hellhole that must be visited during every Elden Ring Items Xbox playthrough; in addition, this area contains two Starlight Shards that must be acquired.

The first one can be found on the cliffs in the far southwest, almost due south of the location where you enter the zone from Limgrave. Take the Site of Grace on the Caelid Highway South as your marker, and then head west in a straight line from there. It should be possible for you to see the half-moon altar from a distance.

Shard of Caelid Starlight number 2

As part of Millicent’s questline, you will arrive at the Church of the Plague, which is only a short distance from the second item. You have the option of traveling north from Sellia, Town of Sorcery, or traveling south from Greydoll’s Dragonbarrow. If you go with the second option, you will not only have to break the seal on the northern exit of the Town, but you will also have to avoid being hit by enormous steel balls.

DragonbarrowPosition of the Starlight Shards

The solitary Starlight Shard that can be found in Greydoll’s Dragonbarrow can be found not too far to the southeast of the Bestial Sanctum, which is the location of Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman. After teleporting to the Sanctum Site of Grace, travel toward the cliffs in the southeast direction. It should be possible for you to see the altar from quite a distance away.

Altus PlateauPosition of the Starlight Shards

The only piece of the Altus Plateau can be found at the plateau’s most northern tip, directly behind the Shaded Castle. Take the lower path that leads north from the Grand Lift of Rold or the Erdtree Gazing Hill Sites of Grace until you reach the castle. The castle is located to the north. You are not allowed to enter the grounds of the castle. Instead, circumnavigate the castle by going around the west side of the walls and going all the way around to the back. Along the cliffs in the north, the altar is almost impossible to miss.

Mount Gelmir, the location of the Starlight Shards 1

You’ll find the first Shard on Mount Gelmir on your way to Volcano Manor, so keep an eye out for it. Once you have arrived at the Ninth Mt. Gelmir Campsite Site of Grace, which is close to the Spiritspring and a ladder, continue forward. Bring either of them into the arena of the Fully-grown Fallingstar Beast. It is necessary to either avoid the boss or defeat it in order to gain access to the altar, which is located on the western edge of the arena.

Mount Gelmir is the location of the second Starlight Shard.

You will need to travel to the Altus Plateau first in order to get to the Seethewater River, which is where the second fragment of Mt. Gelmir is located. From the Wyndham Ruins, head in a northwesterly direction and follow the river all the way around to reach Primal Sorcerer Azur. Along the way, you will have to kill a Magma Wyrm as part of Alexander’s questline. The Starlight Shard can be found on the cliffs to the southeast of the Sorcerer, just outside the arena for the Demi-human Queen.

Summits of the Mountains of the GiantsLocation 1 of the Starlight Shards

The far northwest of the zone is where you will find the first of the two Starlight Shards that can be found in the Mountaintops of the Giants. The quickest and easiest way to get there is to travel directly north until you reach the Site of Grace at the Castle Sol Main Gate, and then to travel almost directly west from there. Continue following the western cliffs until you reach the area occupied by the Death Rite Bird world boss. The altar should be located on the cliffside overlooking the area. To acquire the Shard without risk, you must either vanquish the boss or reload the previous area.

Summits of the Mountains of the GiantsLocation 2 of the Starlight Shard

The second location for this item is on the eastern cliffs of the Mountaintops, more specifically in the section that is known as the giants’ graveyard. The best way to get to the cliffs at the edge of the area is to first collect the Site of Grace at the Foot of the Forge and then head in a northeasterly direction. Although it is protected by enemies with giant hands, the altar is not difficult to find.

The remaining 11 Starlight Shards can be obtained by completing quests or exploring quest areas directly. If you follow Ranni’s quest, you will eventually arrive at the Cathedral of Manus Celes on the Moonlight Altar. This will happen if you travel to the Cathedral of Manus Celes. There are ten pieces of Starlight Shards dispersed throughout the wreckage of the church.

In order to complete Sorceress Sellen’s quest, you will need to provide her with the location of Primeval Sorcerer Lusat, which can be found in a hidden catacomb in Caelid known as the Sellia Hideaway. She will then give you the final Starlight Shard as a reward.
