People who had a bit of difficulty hearing were 60 percent more likely to suffer an injury, and those who had moderate difficulty hearing were 70 percent more likely. People in the top range of hearing loss, “a lot of difficulty hearing,” were ninety percent more likely to be injured when they fell or got into an accident.
