So Clean, sustainable, and traceable: so the “Products of the year”

And here we are at the now usual in-depth analysis of market trends and technological innovation in the cleaning sector seen through the magnifying glass of the “Product of the Year Issa Pulire 2022” award, the recognition – now in its second edition – which has picked up the baton of the historic and highly coveted “Innovation Award”. This edition was attended by 45 products from 32 companies from Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Austria, the United States, and Sweden: original products with elements of novelty, improvement, and competitive advantage in direct comparison with the competition.

The “fan” of the finalists

In the end, Consensus Group‘s EnozoPro Aqueous Ozone Spraybottle system won the day, awarded during the ceremony on September 8 at the Issa Pulire Theater. The event was also an opportunity to announce the other 4 finalists: Xibu hybrid dispenser monitoring system by Hagleitner Hygiene International GmbH, DVC750LZX1 – 18V Brushless Vacuum Cleaner by Makita SpA, Bhrv by Novaltec Group Srl, AD4 Sanirobot by Newpharm Srl Let’s see them then one by one, with the main characteristics and elements of innovation that are destined to “make the school” in the sector.

EnozoPRO: cleaning and disinfection from running water

We start the course with the overall winner, a multipurpose appliance that uses tap water, patented diamond plates, and a small electric charge to create a safe and effective detergent, disinfectant, and deodorant. This innovative product replaces the need for industrial synthetic chemicals that contribute to chemical pollution, waste, and irritation risks. It is able to carry out sanitization operations (a term that we hear very often in Covid times …) more accurately and safely thanks to ozone, used in place of traditional cleaning products, with a good saving of time and resources.

How does it work The aqueous ozone produced can kill 99.9% of some of the most harmful bacteria. It acts in perfect safety and attacks even unwanted odors without the need for added perfumes or dyes. The cleaning power eliminates the need for other synthetic chemicals and leaves no residue: therefore perfect for those with allergies or sensitive skin. Furthermore, it is a sustainable solution, because it reduces the use of water and, in general, the carbon footprint and leaves no harmful residues. Aqueous ozone, in fact, is produced when water and air are electrically charged, creating one of the most powerful oxidants on the planet in a completely natural way. If all this were not enough, even the use is simple and does not require special training by the operators. In short, a smart,  Soclean alternative

Newpharm Sanirobot

Not least, in its field of use, is AD4 Sanirobot by Newpharm: an innovative technological and organizational solution based on an autonomous mobile robotic platform (AMR), capable of reducing the risk of contamination of operators and guaranteeing the safety of people in places. of work, both in production and in services. The key features are autonomous navigation, a smart nebulization system, and remote monitoring. Sanirobot is able to move autonomously using simultaneous localization and mapping algorithms. Sanitation takes place through the nebulization of a tri-amino-based disinfectant authorized by the Ministry of Health. During complete cycles of workThe robot vaporize the internally mixed liquid over a certain area. Each work cycle of the system is called “Sanitation / Disinfection”, and can treat one or more walkable areas. The system consists of two fundamental elements: Amr Omron LD90, a robot capable of autonomously performing movement activities within production environments and civil areas, and Payload, an automatic nebulizer installed on the top of the robot. Its task is to mix the sanitizing/disinfectant liquid with water and nebulize this mixed liquid in the form of a dry cold mist. It avoids the use of bulky and heavy mechanical equipment that must be moved frequently, requiring physical effort on the part of the operators. In fact, after an initial programming phase,

Novitec, the future of steam  From Novaltec comes to Bhrv, a 4.0 technology that allows you to have the entire fleet monitored 24 hours a day. Some concrete examples? Data collection aimed at improving the product, constant information on the consumption of water and any detergents, scheduled maintenance, monitoring of all components, immediate notification to the data center, and consequent prompt intervention or shipment within 24 hours of the spare part for any damage, scheduled service for each component in wear (including filter change or boiler cleaning), the possibility of online intervention, for example by excluding a shorted resistance and making the customer work with the other functions. New design, super safe filters the machine features a new captivating design (the future of steam, in fact), as well as a 3-level exhaust air filtration system, which if not properly filtered is returned to the environment contaminating the subsequent rooms; two UV lamps under the head are designed to check the bacterial load and bad odors in the dirty water container. Simple control of the water and detergent level. Other specifications include the timed stop of the suction motor in case of overflow and the antibacterial plastics to prevent the machine from being a vehicle for pathogens, handled and moved from one environment to another as loaded on various means for transport. . A further safety element is given by the very low voltage control panel (12 volts).

XIBU Hagleitner, digitalized distribution to optimize the use and reduce waste Let’s now pass to Hagleitner’s Xibu digital distribution system, also based on total traceability: the nine different hybrid devices, in fact, not only dispense hand sanitizer, toilet seats, toilet paper, foam/cream soap, towels of paper and air freshener and much more but also transmit real-time data on their individual consumption, fill level, energy status and maintenance requirements via Bluetooth to a gateway managed by LAN, Wi-Fi or SIM, where it comes from possibly transferred to a secure database. To access and evaluate this data, Hagleitner developed an online facility management (HSM) app and tool. This is precisely the feature that makes the system unique of its kind. Hybrid system with app the app allows the adjustment of the dispenser settings (doses and intervals) for each individual unit from smartphone and tablet, and the management tool allows updated statistics on the activation frequency of each dispenser and quantity of product dispensed. The dispensers can be powered by a rechargeable battery, AC adapter, or power box. Both the XIBU and HSM apps are available in 17 languages. The dispenser design allows for easy and correct refilling and use, and the digital dispenser monitoring system reduces waste, labor, and storage costs. The app shows the status of each dispenser and allows you to track exactly how much paper and products have been consumed.

Makita 18V Wet & Dry is a lithium gem! And let’s close (but let’s remember: last but not least!) With the powerful Makita 18V Wet & Dry portable vacuum cleaner, a multipurpose tool capable of guaranteeing perfect cleaning of domestic environments, offices, shops, means of transport, and much more. The innovative element, in this case, mainly concerns the scarce – if not nothing – the need for maintenance. The machine is in fact equipped with a high-performance Brushless motor, powered by batteries, which does not require any maintenance. The heart of the system, and of its innovative range, are precisely the latest generation lithium batteries. Equipped with filter bag (Pet) and Hepa filter that retains up to 99.97% of particles. Powerful, effective, and sustainable for the environment and… for our ears! And it is not the only element that makes this equipment particularly functional, interesting, and innovative: the sophisticated ergonomics obtained from a compact machine body that allows operations otherwise precluded as in confined spaces (for example in vehicle cabs) do its part. transport and storage compartments). The vacuum cleaner can also be used in combination with tools for cutting wood with the recovery of derived dust. The sustainability element could not be missing in a new millennium award: it is in fact a machine built with the latest generation of recyclable materials and recycled plastics, for minimum environmental impact. Which does not end only in the purely ecological aspect (materials used), but also extends to the acoustic one, since the equipment guarantees minimum noise levels. You just can’t ask for more.
