For Bangladesh iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max: price, specifications, colors 2022

Apple presents its two most advanced and powerful smartphones. And it resides in the notch with its new Dynamic Island.

Two by two, this is how Apple has presented its new iPhone range, which is again made up of 4 models -just like the previous iPhone 13.

And as the leaks of previous weeks were in charge of announcing, the Pro models of the iPhone 14 present a redesign of the notch, the most iconic element of the iPhone of the last five years.

iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max

But it is not just a tab reduction, but a reinvention under the Dynamic Island concept, a mix of hardware and software that will surely define the Pro versions of Apple mobiles in the coming years.

Steel, Glass and Super Retina

Retaining the same overall look and feel as iPhone 13, iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max feature a chassis made of surgical-grade stainless steel and textured matte glass in four colors, with Ceramic Shield on the front, plus resistant than any smartphone glass and that protects the terminal against spills and accidents thanks to its resistance to water and dust.

Both models mount a new 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display for the iPhone 14 Pro and 6.7-inch for the 14 Pro Max, with ProMotion and always-on display technology, implemented for the first time on an iPhone. made possible by the new 1Hz refresh rate and multiple power-efficient technologies.

Thus, the new lock screen is more useful because the time, widgets and live activities can be seen at a glance. The advanced display also offers the same HDR peak brightness as Pro Display XDR, and the maximum outdoor brightness of a smartphone: up to 2,000 nits, which is double that of iPhone 13 Pro.

The new notch

As all the leaks pointed out, the iPhone 14 Pro models cut out the characteristic upper ‘notch’, Apple has moved the proximity sensor behind the screen, and notifications will now pop out of the notch in an animation.

And it is that far from being simply an aesthetic detail, Apple has innovated with a mixture of software and hardware, calling this system Dynamic Island or Dynamic Island.

Notifications and alerts will adapt and move around the pill-shaped notch, and Apple is really leaning into how it animates and uses the system for new notifications.

This notch+ software includes live activity widgets that come to life and animations and controls for music. When you swipe home, background tasks like playing music will be moved to the Dynamic Island area.

Dynamic Island

Both iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max will include an always-on display: the Dynamic Island allows you to interact with iPhone in new ways, adapting in real time to show important alerts, notifications and activities. With the addition of Dynamic Island, the TrueDepth camera has been redesigned to take up less of the screen.

Without affecting the displayed content, Dynamic Island maintains an active state that allows users to more easily access controls with a long press. Activities active in the background, such as Maps, Music, or a timer, are still visible and can be interacted with. In addition, third-party apps from iOS 16, such as sports scores and ride sharing with live activities, can also take advantage of Dynamic Island.

The first iPhone with a 48 megapixel camera.

For the first time, the Pro range integrates a 48 Mpx main camera with a Quad Pixel sensor that adapts to the photo being taken. In addition, it offers optical sensor-shift image stabilization.

For most photos, the Quad Pixel sensor combines every four pixels into a single large pixel equivalent to 2.44 µm. This makes for amazing low-light photos in a handy 12MP size. The Quad Pixel sensor also makes possible a 2x telephoto lens that uses the sensor’s middle 12 megapixels to take high-resolution photos and 4K video without digital zoom.

This offers optical quality at a typical focal length, a great option for features like Portrait mode. The Quad Pixel sensor is also very interesting for professionals, as it optimizes details in ProRAW. Thanks to a new machine learning model custom designed for the Quad Pixel sensor, iPhone now shoots ProRAW at 48MP with unprecedented detail, opening up new creative possibilities for professional users.

Photonic Engine

Named after an element of Star Trek, Apple has harnessed the power of the A16 Bionic chip to lend a hand to the photography module through the Photonic Engine, which dramatically improves results in low to medium light situations in all cameras through tight integration of hardware and software: up to 2x the performance on the main camera, up to 3x the ultra-wide, up to 2x the telephoto, and up to 2x the TrueDepth camera.

This quality enhancement provided by the Photonic Engine is the result of applying the benefits of Deep Fusion earlier in image processing, delivering extraordinary detail, maintaining subtle textures, enhancing color and retaining more photo information.

  • A new 12 Mpx ultra wide angle with 1.4 µm pixels, which allows you to capture sharper and more detailed images, and improves the performance of macro photography.
  • An improved telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
  • A new TrueDepth front camera with an ƒ/1.9 aperture for better photos and videos in low light. Introduce autofocus, focus even faster in low light, and take group shots from further away.
  • A completely redesigned new adaptive True Tone flash with an array of nine LEDs that change pattern depending on the chosen focal length.
  • All the power of computational photography, including Night mode, Smart HDR 4, Portrait mode with Portrait Lighting, Night mode Portrait mode, and Photo Styles to customize each photo, plus Apple ProRAW.
  • A new Action mode , which allows you to record incredibly stable videos that adjust to shakes, movements and vibrations even in the middle of fast-paced action.
  • Cinema mode , now available in 4K at 30 fps and 4K at 24 fps.
  • Professional processes for video , including ProRes and HDR recording with Dolby Vision from start to finish.

A16 Bionic

The A16 Bionic chip in iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max comes with a new six-core CPU, with two performance cores and four efficiency cores that make it up to 40% faster than the competition and run demanding tasks smoothly. . The A16 Bionic chip’s 5-core accelerated GPU offers 50% more memory and is perfect for graphics-intensive apps and games. Additionally, the chip includes a new 16-core Neural Engine capable of processing nearly 17 trillion operations per second. The chip is made to combine performance and energy savings, delivering better results with much lower power consumption than the competition.

And as we say, the cameras of the new iPhone Pro make use of the power of the A16 Bionic. The CPU, GPU, Neural Engine, and Image Signal Processor are seamlessly integrated to power the new camera hardware, executing up to 4 trillion operations per frame.

Accident Detector

The entire range of the iPhone 14 debuts security features never seen before on a mobile phone that allow you to request help from the emergency services when you need it most.

Like the new Apple Watch Series 8 and Ultra watches, thanks to a new dual-core accelerometer capable of sensing g-force measurements up to 256 g and a new wide dynamic range gyroscope, iPhone crash detection can now detect a collision critical and automatically call emergency services if a user is unconscious or unable to access their iPhone.

These features are in addition to previous components, such as the barometer, which can now detect pressure changes in the cabin, the GPS, which provides additional information when speed varies, and the microphone, which can recognize loud noises typical of accidents. serious car

SOS Help via Satellite

The iPhone 14 range also launches Emergency SOS via satellite, which combines custom components seamlessly integrated with software so that the antennas connect directly to a satellite and messages can be sent to emergency services when there is no satellite coverage.

mobile data or Wi-Fi. Satellites are on the move and have low bandwidth, and messages can take several minutes to arrive. Because every second counts, with Satellite Emergency SOS, iPhone displays some vital questions to assess the user’s situation and tells them where to point their phone to connect to a satellite.

The initial questionnaire and follow-up messages are sent to centers where Apple-trained specialists call emergency services on the user’s behalf. This revolutionary technology also allows users to manually share their satellite location with the Find If No Wi-Fi or mobile data connection feature.

In this way, they can hike or camp more safely in areas without coverage. The Emergency SOS service via satellite will be available in the United States and Canada in November and will be free for two years, but we do not know if Apple will release it outside the Americas.

iOS 16

Designed to take full advantage of the new features in iPhone 14 Pro, iOS 16 features a redesigned lock screen, plus new smart sharing and communication features that will change the way you use iPhone.

The lock screen is more personal, stylish, and useful than ever, with an artistic multi-layered effect that displays images of subjects taken from photos ahead of the hour, and redesigned widgets that provide information at a glance.

The wallpaper gallery offers a variety of options, such as Apple collections, a Weather wallpaper that changes depending on the day’s weather conditions, an Astronomy wallpaper with views of the Earth, Moon, and solar system, and many more.

With Messages, you can now edit or unsend messages and mark conversations as unread so you can return to them later. With iCloud Photo Library Sharing, it’s even easier to share a collection of photos with your family.

Live Text expands its capabilities, and now you can recognize text included in videos and quickly perform various tasks, such as converting currencies, translating texts and more.

Additionally, with Visual Finder you can now long-press the subject image of a photo to separate it from the background and place it in apps like Messages.

Minimal impact on the environment

iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max are designed to minimize their environmental impact, using 100% recycled rare earths in all magnets, including those used in MagSafe, and 100% recycled tungsten in the Taptic Engine.

In addition, both models feature 100% recycled tin in the soldering of various printed circuit boards, and 100% recycled gold in the plating of various printed circuit boards and in the wiring for all cameras.

Fiber packaging eliminates outer plastic wrap, bringing Apple closer to its goal of completely eliminating plastic from all of its packaging by 2025.
