The joint report made by the French media ‘LEquipe’ and ‘France Info’ continues to offer many revealing data. The monthly salaries of the highest-paid soccer players in the world today have come to light, and the data shows some somewhat striking figures.

Within the five major European football leagues, LaLiga (Spain), Premier League (England), Bundesliga (Germany), Serie A (Italy) and Ligue 1 (France), this is the ‘top 10’ list, made up of the ten players who earn the most each month at the moment.

The ‘big three’ of recent years, made up of Neymar Jr., Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo , continue to occupy the top positions in the monthly salary ranking. The Brazilian is the outstanding leader, pocketing 4,083,000 euros gross, immediately followed by his Argentine teammate from PSG with 3,375,000 .

Cristiano Ronaldo is in third position since he signed a contract of 2,630,000 gross euros per month with Manchester United . The following positions are reserved for three footballers from the Spanish LaLiga, two from Real Madrid and one from FC Barcelona .

One of the captains of the Barça team, Gerard Pique, is the first Spaniard to appear on the list, occupying fourth position with a salary of 2,330,000 euros gross per month. Then Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard appear, who do not count for Carlo Ancelotti but pocket 2,270,000 euros each month.

Very close to them is the player most desired by the white club, Kylian Mbappe, who earns 2,220,000 euros per month. Three from Paris Saint-Germain already appear among the seven best-paid players in the five major European leagues .

The list closes with Kevin de Bruyne in eighth position (2,060,000 euros), Robert Lewandowski (2,000,000 euros) and the Spanish goalkeeper David de Gea (1,930,000 euros gross per month).

That athletes, some more than others, have been well-paid stars for years is something that nobody can escape. Perhaps that is why Forbes has made its list of the 100 highest paid athletes in the world . Among these, you can find 12 soccer players, and three of them crown the top of the richest athletes in the world in this 2019.

Soccer has become the king of sports due to the income received by some of its players and soccer clubs: television rights, sponsorships, product sales, advertising, etc.

But, who are the 12 privileged ones who earn astronomical amounts?

1.-  Leo Messi is once again number one, with revenues of 17 million dollars, 81 corresponding to Barcelona salaries and 31 sponsorships.

2. Cristiano Ronaldo,  the soccer player who has been in the European teams that have millionaire bank accounts. Currently, he plays for Juventus in Turin where he earns 65 million dollars, to which must be added 44 million more for advertising.

3.Neymar  He left Barça to go to Paris Saint-Germain, where petrodollars presides over the French club. In it he charges 75 million dollars and 30 million in advertising

4. Pau Pogba The Manchester United player receives 29 million dollars from his club, to which must be added 4 million more from advertising.

5. Andres Iniesta. He left Barça to play in Japan with the Vissel Kobe team, with a salary of 30 million plus 2.5 million in advertising.

6. Alexis Sanchez . The change of team from Arsenal to Manchester United provides him with a salary of 26.6 million-plus advertising revenue of 4 million.

7. Kylian Mbappe .  The French footballer has a salary of 26.6 million and his advertising contracts from him refuel him with 4 million more.

8. Mesut Ozil . Former Real Madrid player, and current Arsenal player, he has a salary of 27 million dollars. Plus 2 sponsorships.

9. Oscar. The early-retired player for Shanghai SOPG FC in the Chinese league receives 27 million euros from his club plus 2 for advertising.

10. Antoine Griezmann . Barcelona player is one of the best paid players of the culé team, with 23.2 to which must be added 4.5 million from his advertising contracts.

11. Gareth Bale . That he is not in his best moment at Real Madrid, he receives 20.6 million dollars plus 6.5 in advertising.

12. Mohammed Salah The Liverpool footballer receives 16.1 million euros in salary plus the not inconsiderable amount of 9 million in advertising. He is one of the players on the Forbes list who earns the most in advertising.
