A flash flood watch is a rapid rise (minutes to hours) and surprising water levels affecting any part of a watershed. These floods are mostly due to heavy and localized rainfall associated with thunderstorms, storms, cyclones, or, more rarely, glacial disasters, causing sudden and sudden flooding of the hydrographic network.
