OPG, or Orthopantomogram, is a panoramic dental x-ray that produces a 2 dimensional view of the maxilla and mandible. You are required to keep still for less than 10 seconds whilst the machine rotates around your head. The image produced contains information about the teeth, gums and bones. Preparing for an OPG Please bring your referral (letter from your doctor/dentist) and your Medicare and/or Pension Health care card with you to your appointment.
