3. The Loretto chapel staircase – Madame Sherri’s stairs

These are also called ruined royalty which are better than the above two. Madame Sherri’s parties were royaled there and also had all types of scandalous things. This Loretto Chapel is built in the forests of Chesterfield, New Hampshire. The Chapel was burnt down and now these are the only stairs in the forest with nothing surrounding it.

Once a ranger had experienced something terrifying about these stairs. A young man climbed up a tree to catch a branch. His hand was cut down by someone not present. Now one knows the mystery. It is still unknown. A horrifying part of the story was that the young man’s hand was not present there and still not found.  

5. Mount Phnom Kulen

The Phnom Kulen is a mountain in Cambodian Siem Reap having mysterious random stairs in the woods about 2000 feet long. The purpose of these stairs is still unknown. However some researchers found that the structure belongs to 9th to 13th century buildings.

Two speculations have been given about Mount Phnom Kulen stairs:

It might be a way to Mahendraparavat city which is later covered in forest.

It might have been built by King Suryavarman II in the tevelveth century for acquiring building supplies for Angkor Wat.

6. Staircase without destination

These stairs are present in the woods of Germany, where one tourist felt responsible to disclose facts related to these stairs. He observed that as he got closer and closer to end up, stairs were hypnotizing him.

Still today on one could find where these random stairs in the woods started and where will be its end point. It is unique among other stairs having no endpoint destination.

7. Spiral staircase Linzhou

These random stairs in the woods are built in the Taihang mountains in China. They are as high as 300 feet and provide a remarkable journey for travelers younger than 60 years. They are not suitable for faint hearted travelers because they are battered by heavy wind.
