BEST WAY TO STORE CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS

Your preparations for the holiday season start way long before the actual date. You spend tons of money and invest time for the decorations and making your home look all set for Christmas. Some of you even get thrifty and make ornaments and decorations at home, which too require a lot of effort and time. You get all your decorations done and now your home sparkles and twinkles at Christmas. You achieve the satisfaction of getting festive vibes from your home but when the holiday season is over, taking down all the decorations can be super tiring also let me tell you it isn’t easy.

All the lights, garlands, and the candle have to come down and it is frustrating because this is so much work. It is not as simple as disposing of them all in the garbage (you wish bro.) because nobody got time for finding and spending on decorations again and again. The smart move is to save and store as much as you can for future use. But even that is not as simple as just to say only because only the efficient storing would allow you to use them next year with some sparkle.

For the light bulbs and the baubles do not just throw them away if you intend to do so, you won’t be able to since they are so adorable and your heart will melt but no problem some of the following creative hacks will save you. If you don’t want to spend on ornament boxes it is okay at least you all got empty leftover egg cartons or apple containers because they are going to come in very handily now to store these bulbs and baubles. Line them in and keep them safe.

For the Christmas tree, if you are planning on storing them for a while in your garage shrink-wrap them. This will keep it safe and dust-free for next season and you would just need to unwrap the sheet.

For the fairy lights, wrap them around the cardboard to keep them detangled and them store inside a box

For the garlands, It is best to store them in a plastic bottle because it would save it from twisting around your other decorations. Each bottle would have two strings of garlands and will keep you freaking out on how to store them

For wreaths, invest in hangers so that you can store them without getting them crushed. Hang the wreath and then wrap them in plastic bags to prevent them from getting messy and unclean.

If you are finding storage solutions then they are probably a lot in your own home. Purchase bins with dividers, which come handy for so many purposes, also will keep your stuff organized.

Plan on using clear containers because it will not only keep your stuff safe but will also indicate which box contain which thing, which keep things tidy and organized. These clear boxes come in all sizes, which will store your tree toppers, garlands, bulbs, lights, faux greenery etc. It will be better if your wrap each thing in a paper or tissue to avoid any breakage.

These ideas were given utilizing the basic things at home but you can also purchase customized ornament boxes and bags made specifically for the purpose of storing all your Christmas delights.
