What are the eligibility criteria for Canada Tourist Visa?

If you cannot prove that you are eligible for a Canada visitor visa, they will deny you that you are unacceptable in Canada. If you are found unacceptable, the only way to enter your country is to obtain a temporary resident permit.
Canada tourist visa requirements
To apply for a Canadian tourist visa, you need to submit some documents, as follows:
- Standard requirements for Canada visa.
- Canada Tourist Visa Application Form
- Your bank or other financial statements to prove that you have sufficient funds to travel to Canada.
- If you have already booked your air ticket or a description of what you plan to do once in Canada.
- If you meet them, a Canada visa invitation letter from your family or friends.
- Proof of relationship if you visit your family.
- If you meet your family or friends, their immigration status.
- Bank statements or other financial statements of your friends or family if you visit them.
- A declaration from you to the Government of Canada where you explain why they will give you a tourist visa.
- Two photos that meet the requirements of the Canadian photo.
- Your employment or education status through a resume or diploma, as well as a letter from your employer stating that you have a contractual obligation and must return to your home country.
- Proof that your stay in Canada is temporary and that you will return to your home country at the end of your visit, such as a lease, property deed, etc.
- Proof that you do not plan to work or study in Canada.
- Court documents that prove you have a clear criminal history.
All documents you have should be translated into languages other than English or French.
How to apply for Visa CANADA from Chile
To apply Canada Visa for Chile Citizens, Chilean passport holders only need to access the application form through the official Canada Online Visa website, pay the eTA processing fee, and submit their application. The whole process does not take more than 30 minutes from start to finish.
Candidates do not have to live in Chile at the time of application and can apply from anywhere in the world. In case of any delay, they are advised to apply at least 72 hours before the date of travel.
Applicants are asked to provide a number of personal and passport details in the application form, such as:
- First and last name
- Gender
- Place of birth
- Date of birth
- Nationality
- Occupation
- Address
- Phone number
- Email address
- The country of the passport
- Passport number
- Passport issue date
- Passport expiration date
They have to answer a number of questions about their health and criminal record history. It is very important that all the information given is completely accurate and true. If not, the application may be delayed or denied.
Once approved, the Canadian ETA is valid for 5 years from the date of issue. It can be used for multiple entries every 180 days. Travelers who wish to extend their stay in Canada must apply for a new ETA if they have done so at least 30 days in advance and out of the country.
Since the Canadian ETA is attached to the traveler’s passport, there is no need to print ETA approval. However, it is imperative that the traveling Canadian present the passport used in the ETA application to the immigration officer. This is especially relevant for dual citizens who want to get an eTA.
It is important to remember that the length of time a traveler can stay in Canada is determined by the Border Services Officer. This period will be indicated in the passport. In addition, an eTA does not guarantee entry into Canada and the final decision to enter the country is made by immigration to Canada.
