1) Box Braids With Braiding Hair Extensions

Box Braids

Step1:- Wash & Dry

  1. Wash your hair & make it completely dry before braiding.
  2. You can also cut the braiding hair extensions to the length you want or leave it as is if you like it.

Step 2:- Detangling & Parting

  1. Remove any knots and tangles using a detangling hairbrush.
  2. As we are doing the box braids, begin by sectioning your hair into small, even, box-shaped portions.
  3. Now, using tiny elastic bands, tie each portion in a bun.

Step 3:- Looping & Twisting

  1. With one hand, hold the braiding hair extensions. On the other hand, loop the braid hairpiece around the natural hair, thereby warping the extension in half.
  2. The braid hairpiece needs to be equally looped around the strand so that the ends meet, resulting in a uniform braid.
  3. Twist the extension around your natural hair. Hold your natural hair tightly while twisting the two strands of the extension around the natural hair strand.

Step 4- Braiding & Blending

  1. Spray water on the braiding hair extensions and natural hair to keep stray hairs in place as you work with it.
  2. Do the three-strand braiding at the base using the hair extension and natural hair.
  3. Then, to secure the extension, move it upwards towards the scalp.
  4. Separate the natural and extension hair into two strands. Combine 1 of each strand to create two additional strands. Now, two of your strands should be a combination of natural hair and extension strands, with three separate sections of hair.

Step 4- Continue Braiding & Securing.

  1. Continue braiding it till you reach the end of your hair.
  2. When you come to the ends of your natural hair, apply hair spray or water to smooth it down as it blends with your braiding hair extensions.
  3. When you arrive at the end of the extensions, use a thin hair tie or another way to secure the ends of your box braids.

2) Cornrows Braids- African Braiding Hair

Cornrows

Step1:- Sectioning

  1. Before you begin, comb the hair straight back. Begin your cornrow by sectioning off a long, thin segment of hair from your scalp to your neck in a straight line.
  2. To prevent hair from the rest of your head from getting merged into the cornrow, use rubber bands, clips, bobby pins, or another styling tool to bind the hair that is not in the cornrow region.

Step 2:- Making The Braid Base & Adding The Extension

  1. You’ll need a base for the braids, so start by removing a thin, even portion from the back of your head, very adjacent to your scalp.
  2. Place the African braiding hair extension in the center to produce three strands of braids.
  3. Place the three strands between your fingers, on the one hand, to prepare them for braiding.

Step 3:- Braiding & Braiding

  1. Repeat the braiding method 3 to 4 times more to achieve a tight, sturdy base braid for your cornrow.
  2. Now that the basic braid is finished take a small amount of hair from the tract and insert it between two strands.
  3. When you’ve braided all of your African braiding hair from your scalp into your braid, switch to a box braid style and continue till you reach the end. Use a little rubber band to tie your hair.

Step 4:- Moving On & Securing

  1. After completing the 3rd step, repeat the process for the remaining rows.
  2. Secure the braids after completing all the cornrows.

3) Crocheting Human Braiding Hair

Before & After Crocheting Your Human Braiding Hair

Step 1:- Making The Tracks & Sewing The Tails.

  1. To begin the crochet braids, construct the cornrow tracks first.
  2. If your hair is long to the nape of your neck, tuck it up to run parallel to the cornrow. Sew the extra braided tail with the cornrow with the help of a thread & needle loop & secure tightly.

Step 2:- Crocheting

1. Fold the human braiding hair in half so that the ends are equal. Slide the latch hook carefully beneath the cornrow. Close the latch hook by hooking the human extension loop into it.

2. Pull the extension carefully below the cornrow until the extension’s loop is below the cornrow. Tighten the loop until it is tight against the cornrow and connected to your hair.

Step 3:- Repeating Step 2 Till Done

  1. Rep the latch hook procedure.
  2. Once you’ve secured one extension, go down the cornrow and repeat the process. Depending on how you like it, you can place them close or far from each other.
  3. After connecting the braid hairpiece, you may twist or braid or go for any natural hair braid style.
