How to load an image to use as a background on PS4

First, you’ll need to load some images you’d like to put on your PS4 onto a flash drive. Make sure you use high-quality images, so the screen looks nice and has a good resolution. However, do not exceed the solutions of 1920×1080 on PS4 and 3840×2160 on PS4 Pro.

On your flash drive, insert the images into a folder called ‘IMAGES,’ which allows your PS4 to recognize them. Once that’s done, plug the flash drive into your PS4’s USB port.

To change the wallpaper, follow these steps:

1. Turn on your PS4 and log into your account and home screen. With the USB drive inserted into your PS4, use the PS4 controller and access the Settings option.

2. On the Settings screen, choose the Themes option.

3. Choose the Select Theme option.

4. Choose the Customize option.

5. Press Select Image and then choose USB Storage Device.

6. Highlight the image you would like to use and press the x button on your controller. Then crop the image to fit the theme using the controller’s L, R, and X keys.

7. If you want to enlarge the detail of your image, use the right button to enlarge it. When you are satisfied with the result, select the Apply option.
