Aston Villa have signed former Liverpool player Philippe Coutinho on a permanent contract from Barcelona.
The Brazilian 29-year-old Brazilian was transferred into Villa Park on loan in January in the deal that included the option of buying at the conclusion of the season.
He is now to a contract that will run through 2026 and worth 20 million dollars (PS17m) as well as is believed to have taken a significant salary cut from his contract for Spain.

Coutinho is a goal scorer and given three assists in his time at Villa but none of them have occurred during his last eight games.
He was signed to Barcelona as part of the form of a PS142m transfer after leaving Liverpool in January 2018 . He was given 12 months under his agreement.
Gerrard the captain of Coutinho’s team in Liverpool and declared after Saturday’s thrilling 3-1 victory in the Premier League’s match against Burnley in which he was keen to take on Coutinho for life.
