Xiaomi

Xiaomi is a Chinese electronics corporation. It was founded by Lei Jun in 2010 and it’s headquarter is established in Beijing. It is the most famous and well-known for Smart phones, laptops and mobile apps.  In the Tuesday, Xiaomi has announced this news on Twitter that its brand Poco will be turned into a new company. This news has been announced by the Company’s Global vice President and India Head Manu Kumar Jain who said that this is a suitable time to declare that Poco will be curved into a new company. He also said “excited to share that Poco will now be an independent brand!” when started as a sub-brand within Xiaomi, has grown into its own identity. POCO F1 was an incredibly popular phone. We feel the time is right to let POCO will operate its’ own.”

How did Xiaomi start?

Xiaomi

As we know that Xiaomi had launched its first brand in 2018. The first product of the POCO was F1. POCO F1 was the most famous and outstanding brand of the developed by Xiaomi. It is considered one of the best phones in India. Along with that, F1 received high popularity due to its outstanding performance as well as features.  In fact, POCO F1 is still famous and people are using it as a favorite device.

Actually, people were thinking that POCO will release its next product that would be Poco F2. Before this brand launch program and release date, Xiaomi has announced that now they are not more linked with Poco Company. There are many allegations that the separation of the Xiaomi form the Poco can damage its reputation. On the other side, it is also expected that the announcement of Poco f2 will be soon and POCO company will gain new popular due to its independence. However, the next plan of the Poco is not declared yet and the company has not a present new announcement.

Why did Poco leave Xiaomi?

It is also a considerable question that why Xiaomi is spinning off to the Poco as an independent brand. What is the reason for this separation and independence? Most critics have suggested that Poco want to gain its own place in the market by developing new phones. Therefore, Poco will be converted into a new company. Maybe, it is correct, because, POCO previous brand F1 was most famous and had gained high pricing value. So, it should establish a new company for releasing its new brand.

According to the words of TechARC, a new company can be established due to the Xiaomi IoT Company. And Poco wants to introduce more phones. Another researcher Taren Parthian had stated that “this plan might help to Xiaomi with its 5g strategy. He also declared that XIOMIX wants to make more premium Smartphone with 5G cheapest and Poco can continue making flagship-class devices but at lower prices points and 4G connectivity’

Instead of critics’ words, we cannot prove what is the real purpose and meaning of this announcement. Basically, 5G devices are higher than 4G devices but it is most difficult to make a clear margin. Before this announcement, Xiaomi had declared that their company will focus on the premium phones and they will forward their plan by cutting edge features of the cheapest prices phones. So here, we can consider that 5G is the most important element to the isolation of POCO from Xiaomi.

Final Thoughts

Still, it is not clear that what will be the structure of the Poco’s company. We just know that Poco will be turned into a new company. Its products and services are not confirmed yet. As we know that Xiaomi is one of the largest Smartphone Company in the world and it is most famous in India. It has all range devices such as low rates as well as mid-rate. However, the qualities of its devices are outstanding and remarkable. Therefore, it is considered fourth-largest android maker company. But this is a major change in the structure of the Xiaomi Company that he spun off poco into a new company. After that announcement, different critics are presenting different views, yet, we are not sure what will be the product structure of the New Poco Company. However, we are hopeful that this announcement will prove beneficial and advantageous for the Poco as well as Xiaomi.
