SWIMMING POOLS IN DUBAI

Swimming is a common thing in Dubai, particularly when the temperatures exceed 50°C in the summer months. There is no better way to get to cope with the heat than to dip into a cool tub, not to mention the excitement of swimming in a massive desert. Although there are hundreds of hotels throughout the region, almost all of them with their swimming pools, Dubai does not have many places to swim freely. The huge fee of AED 200 or higher in the pool or sports clubs and resorts typically allows for admission to the pool, fitness centres and other pool amenities such as tannic courts. The expense of the payment usually includes the pool. Due to the increase in demand more swimming pools are opening in the new areas of Dubai like near the Central Park City Walk Dubai.

Most pools in Dubai hotels are with infinite or endless edges that seem like the pool has no borders. This is even more impressive, it appears as though the water runs to the horizon forever. Below are the best pools in Dubai selected for aesthetic, settings, size and depth, accessibility and other facilities including pool bars. The costs of using pool facilities are also included; the costs are focused on daily use.

BAB AL SHAMS RESORT

The desert resort Bab-Al-Shams features 3 swimming pools, the most stunning being the infinity pool. With a little driving, this resort is located nearly halfway between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, between winding dunes that provide the perfect day trip. The heated infinity pool is fitted with bubble seats that allow you to relax in the pool while enjoying stunning views of the wilderness beyond. Although it is not cheap, the AED 500 with lunch, weekends and AED 350 with lunch on the weekdays will be issued with a regular bill to take advantage of the pool.

THE ADDRESS

The Dubai Downtown, which is a traditional and elegant place itself, provides an unbeatable view of the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Fountain and the Souk al Bahar in an infinite pool at The Address on five floors. The pool also has a children’s area and a bar, where you can relax and enjoy a nice drink while you enjoy the view of the swimming pool. You will be paying AED 300 for day access to the pool.

AL MAHA RESORT
Al Maha resort in the desert has not a single, but 43 infinity free-form swimming pools with a private mini-pool in each suite. Guests have power over temperatures and the main pool is situated between magnificent palm trees with breathtaking desert views. The AED 550 day pass includes lunch and access to the swimming pool and spa services.

JUMEİRAH ZABEEL SARAY

At the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, an exclusive outdoor pool of 59 metres is a resort-style resort-style pool set in a lush tropical paradise overlooking the Arabian Gulf with a spectacular view over the Palm Jumeirah. For families with children, a dedicated children’s pool, while two Jacuzzis provide ample opportunity to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. A day pass costs AED 250 with access to the private beach and beach butler service, wherever you are.

IBN BATTUTA GATE HOTEL

The lap pool of 30 m long, well worth AED 75 for a weekday pass and AED 100 for a weekend pass. At Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel, the lap pools are on the eighth floor. Children under six can be dropped at the children’s facility and visitors may also have access to the gym via a daytime pass at the pool. Don’t expect a stunning panorama because the hotel is next to the main road.

MUSHRIF AND MAMZAR PARK

you shall not want to spend big bucks to the comfort of your hotel swimming pools, Mushrif Park and Mamzar Park have both public swimming pools available for AED 10 for adults and AED 5 for children plus park entrance fees.  Both parks have plenty of shaded areas and changing rooms but the pools are not always in pristine condition and there is no view. A swimming pool with 25 and 50 metres of the lap for serious swimmers at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Sports Complex is also open to the public. Pools for 20 AED per day or 200 AED per month are available. You can also have a day pass for AED 30 or a monthly membership for AED 300 if you want a very well-equipped fitness centre and sauna. The only drawback is that on Friday, the main day of the Emirates, the club is closed.

The urge of getting into the pool enhances if you are in a desert facing the scorching beam of the sun. The swimming pools are made at almost every hotel and park to calm down the need of people. There is a recent very amazing pool near the Central Park City Walk where you must go and enjoy your weekend.
