Umrah is a life-changing journey that follows in the footsteps of the Prophet (PBUH). Preparing for Umrah is important because it requires a change in your body, mind, and soul. There are many ways to prepare, and it is crucial to find out as soon as possible during the planning process. In this blog, we will share our knowledge and tips about Hajj and Umrah travel to help you plan a journey that will go smoothly.

How to Get Full Spiritual Experience?

Before you can plan an Umrah trip, you need to know why you are going on this spiritual journey. Understanding the purpose of Hajj, its history, and how to read the Quran and Hadith can help you feel spiritually strong during the tour. It is also important to know more about the duties of Umrah and the Sunnah of worship that must be performed during Hajj.

  • Knowing a little about the history of Makkah and Madinah and the life of the Prophet of Islam (SAW) will help you to appreciate the beauty of this place and make Umrah more special.
  • Here, you will find a list of the most important things you should do before Umrah to make your journey meaningful and helpful.
  • Another important piece of advice for Umrah is that you should be in good health, both physically and mentally.

In addition to the usual Hajj and Umrah travel, make sure you have non-scented soaps, moisturizers, portable chargers, and basic first aid items that make your journey more accessible and more comfortable.

Umrah Prayer

Before going, it is useful to learn the prayers required for the rituals of each journey. These acts of worship are important, and they should all be performed with full faith and devotion to Allah Almighty. Muslims also need to pray for their family and friends, pray to Allah to bless them, and help them reach enlightenment. One of the most important secrets of Umrah is to keep a note with the prayer of Umrah on it while going to work, school, or on the road. It is one of the easiest ways to learn and remember when coming to Allah’s house.

Here are ten things you can do to Prepare for Umrah

Take a break

When you arrive in Mecca for Umrah, make sure you get a good night’s sleep. I don’t have to do Umrah immediately, and I like to do Umrah in the afternoon after Isha. It is a personal choice.

Prepare your mind.

It is important to prepare your mind for Umrah. It means having the right attitude. To do it, you need to know enough and have a certain feeling about something. Attend seminars, read books and articles, watch videos, and have a good attitude. You can help yourself in many ways. It is impossible and futile to try to know everything, and do not force yourself to do so. Instead, enjoy the “feeling” of Umrah, encourage, and talk to Allah.

Travel Planning

Always call your airline to find out if your flight has been canceled or is running late. If so, this is best, and I suggest doing it on a flight before going to the UK before Umrah. You never know when you’re going to use it.

Identification of goods

If you wrap your luggage handles with fluorescent tape or a carry-on bag (orange, red, etc.; very familiar with the colors blue and white), your bag will look the same at the airport or in Makkah. You may be surprised. It will make it easier to tell which bag is yours.

Wearing Muslim clothes

Before boarding the plane, the brothers should wear the lower half of the ihram. Then you can wear a top on the plane before Miqat Point.

Be Patient

Be patient and understand. People from every corner of the world fight for a common cause despite their different cultures and backgrounds. What you think is normal can be rude to your brothers and sisters, so be gentle with them and be patient if something bothers you. Umrah and Hajj are lovely, but you can’t feel their sweetness without hassle. Many traveling companies provide 5 star Umrah packages with the necessary facilities an Umrah requires.

Circumambulation

  • Do as many Tawafs as you can in Makkah. However, be careful about your health and your skills.
  • Dress for your comfort.
  • Wear light and airy clothing under your clothes, such as cotton.
  • Book reading
  • It is better to recite or listen to Salat before going on Hajj. If we do so, we can revive the life of the Messenger of Allah.

Drinking a lot of Zamzam water will be beneficial. It can be purchased inside Masjid al-Haram and Masjid al-Nabawi. Be sure to read the markings on the outside taps as they are not all Zamzam. At Zamzam, you can find both hot and cold water.

Final Words

Think of these tips and tricks for Umrah before embarking on your religious journey. And if you want to go on this spiritual and life-changing journey, make sure you are mentally and spiritually ready.
